@Kiimse CET stands for 'Central European Time', the German page says MEZ for 'Mitteleuropäische Zeit'. Other time zones usually mentioned are PST which stands for 'Pacific Standart Time' which is the time in e.g. California (America's most populated state), EST 'Eastern Standart Time' (for places such as New York etc.) and UTC 'Coordinated Universal Time' (I know that spells CUT, but the International agreement is this). UTC is closely related to GMT 'Greenwich Mean Time' and basicly describes the 'Western European Time' WET for countries such as the UK.
Usually UTC is used as the so called 'Space Time'. During winter time UTC+1 is CET (UTC±0=WET) and during summer time UTC+2 is CEST 'Central European Summer Time' (UTC+1=WEST 'Western European Summer Time), because UTC doesn't change with summer or winter time.
