There is a rumor that no skill is required to play the BD as they are broken as crap right now.Add the fact that over 50% of the players that got into the semi finals were BD/BM and after reading all the forum buzz on the BnSDojo, you can clearly see that the class is meant for 1shoting people without having to know your class properly. What do you guys think about this ?
I won't make a decision if they're op or not because I've never faced or used them in PvP, however they are one of the easier classes to get a hang on. Skill balances happen so often that the bottom of the barrel classes could be FOTM in no time, so I wouldn't worry about what is strong right now until we get our final version. PvP in Alpha was a little messy, people were dying too fast, so hopefully NCsoft will increase the HP in arenas. That being said, BM has not been one of the top classes in PvP for a while, but after another balance patch and another skill, Jaesung is even saying that they're in top 3 again. .-.
^ this Don't stress yourself out over rumours and speculation, best thing we can do is wait and see how things pan out in our version.
Lyns > all. Also tournament video's are good to see 1on1. but every class will have his weakness against a specific or multiple other classes.
I think every class is OP in his own way, depends on the ''owner'' how he controls it, but yea summoner rules
Warlock are not in the game yet but Korean mmorpg seem to have a hard time balancing new classes to the game. Gunner in TERA was abit OP when they arrived to the game. I think Warlocks burst is a bit too op. Also, Destroyer & Lyn Bladedancer got this "spin-to-win" thing which makes them "newbiekillers". If you want to climb ladder and to achieve points early you should definately roll a Destroyer since they are probably the strongest class against new people in pvp. If you join for the arena 1on1 early on in the game (before you get all the skills etc) I would say that Summoner is pretty strong. This is all my opinion of course You should watch this pvp video (it's really funny!) I had a great laugh at least haha
Summoners: If I get suppressed and lose 70% hp at the START of the fight one more time... Warlocks: Haven't vsed them but their dmg seems too bursty Assassins: Suck your mum
First things first. If you go blowup your escapes stupidly there is no class what cannot kill you with 1 combo. That being said on our current lvl45 patch BD and Destroyer will be stronk only because they need less skill points to handle themselfs greatly. BM's gonna have hard time dealing any considerable dmg without Sword Summoning. And BD just is too easy to learn in the first place. Worrying on KR patch changes in here is just completely waste of time since we are behind them in every way for atleast 1 year in patches. Until it all balances out we shouldnt be having too much time to worry anything else than learning our own classes and what the enemy classes can do against you.
Actually we aren't that far behind at all when it comes to skill changes ( I believe we are going to get 2.7 instead of korea atm 3.0....). I am talking about PvP here, PVE content we are way behind, tons of dungeons and first raid atm in korea. At lvl 45 however it is true that some classes are missing some very needed skills, BM is an example, aldow I have seen players get into gold/plat with BM. I do believe however when 50 cap hits we are going to be pretty close to the skill changes in korea (again talking about PvP here) . And they did say somewhere that they will release patches in an aggressive ( meaning I assume fast) way. For now I would say its a bit soon to say this or that class is OP and honestly I never really liked these topics to begin with especially when you haven't experienced it yourself.
We are behind even in skillz cause you just simply dont have Hongmoon levels. The amount of skill points we are missing at top lvl is smth from 5-15 and even the hongmoon skillz itself isnt obtained until several weeks after launch. So in my point of view we are quite far behind
depends on how fast you farm HM levels I think ;-) between 5-10 will be enough but I have to admit playing about 3-4 hours a day on Japan during 5 months and I was HM 9 1/3th;-)
