in that case you cant win without having wall dash (lvl 45 skill). i could just run up that tree in 3 seconds xd
well it automaticly activates when you run up somewhere where u usually cant go up so it might happen by accident. but i guess it's possible to avoid it. but when it comes to jumping up some stair like stones for example and you jump against it and would usually fail the jump..then you just start running up that last meter automaticly. maybe u wont even notice u used wall dash for a split second.
well later on we are all level 45 and we can try to find area's that still will be difficult to reach.
well you can only use the wall running as long as you got stamina so its still not easy to get everywhere. in general races will be about finding the best way and manage stamina properly. but those with wall dash and winwalking stage 3 (i doubt anyone has that in cbt) have a huge advantage.
