    Hey all,

First of all I know I was a bit blunt yesterday on Guildchat with one final sentence and then just leaving the guild, Truth be told its been going through my head now for a while to leave the guild and to type the reasons why but due to the DDOS attacks and all the drama lately going on I wasnt able to do that.

There are 2 reasons why I am leaving the guild, one of them which I wont go over in to much detail but it involves my work where a lot is going on at the moment, basicly Im going to loose money after 10 years recieving the same paycheck every month but I am going to keep my work at least this year.

This isnt the main reason at all why Im leaving the guild and I could just go MIA on the forum but since I have no timeframe what so ever I cant really say how long it will take. It is however something that I should mention as well and why I havent been active the last 2 weeks and I also was a bit frustrated in parties. ( apoligizing for the last Naru Labyrinth run and I exit the game on final boss).

The main reason Im leaving is the guild itself are the many small things that grew on me lately. Ill try to go over them but before I do that I just wanted to say I have nothing against anyone of you that I got to know, of course Iike anyone else I have my favorits and favorit group setups and its normal you rather play with people that are more suitable for you or you get along with better however the reasons I left are the following:

    1) Recruitement:

While I know age doest matter and I know its nice to have always people around and a full guild, I want to refer to someone who mentioned this before, also an ex member who talked about this (Torment) recruitement here feels like a race against the clock, it feels like everyone is excepted on a number in the waiting list, I red some introductions as well and while some are nicely written, others are so short and are so easily excepted.

Maybe its different here but in previous guilds and other MMOS I played I wasnt getting in so easily, first I needed to write and introduction, then I spent a week or more on there TS and was in a trial period to then finally being excepted while being closely watched by officers and the guild master itself.

Also this guild is referring itself as a casual-semi hardcore guild doing both PVE/PVP, guess again its a casual guild with like only a select group being semi hardcore and PVE is preferred by a long shot, you should never advertise yourself with anything other then that

    2) Organization:

Going to be blunt here, its simply terrible, Im not referring to any person in general here but this guild is on a timeframe mostly, the most active players who do there quests everyday are usually finished already and after that they do there own thing, I cant believe how many times Ive seen in guild chat a party that wants to go to a certain dungeon 3/6 and are not finding a single other person in the guild while 20-30 people are online. To me it feels like lets hope you are in the most active group and after that good luck in finding one. Yeah sure you can go random or even solo but I think most of you know its not fun at all

Another thing is events: I think Ive been to every event before I left and the most fun I had was hide and seek and truth be told very well organized and really fun, the others were just horrible and some werent even going through, PvP events were a joke and yeah I know I was there on the final guild meeting that it was going to be improved, maybe it will dunno but I feel like this guild will never focus as much on PvP as on PVE, that of course is a personal choice and not pointing fingers to anyone who prefers PVE over PVP

Thirth thing: crafting for the guild and other players. Im going to put this simple, atm you are better off doing it yourself and buying the recipe then actually asking a crafter in the guild, I think for the people that known me I played the AH a lot of times , I can tell you it isnt the same like in the beginning, prices are changing all the time and you are going to pay more in the long run then actually doing it yourself.

    3) TS and drama in guild

TS is devided more and more and while Ill get the seperate groups for being focused in 4 men or tag team PVP or sparring or whatever reason... locking channels to a certain amount of people is a big NO to me. You are destroying the social aspect of being on TS on the first place, What if a new player is dropping in, wanting to ask a question only to find himself alone not being able to ask it because he cannot join...this is only one example of many and going further on the next point is the drama in this guild

While its well known now what happened to a certain member to a guild (not going into detail about this as its open on the forum) this was the only thing that actually stood out to me and needed to be discussed as a guild.

For all the other thing the drama here is just going overboard and the best way to stop the other things Ive seen is to just instantly picking the persons on TS with an officer and to stick with them and talk it out on TS while not involving anyone else.

    4) Final point: Koni as guildmaster

I realize this is more personal to me then anyone else in the guild but I feel like I needed to say this as well. First of all Koni to me is not the best, neither the worst guild master I ever had, I want to mention as well I have nothing against him as a person, he listens to anyone he can, he can keep a group together . He dealt with the DDOS attacks on the website and TS and he cared about our exposed member in a way I havent seen before, big thumbs up for that.

However some things I do not like at all:

    A) Even when you mention you really like to lead and you are not going to leave any members in either BNS or BDO which I strongly believe I do however not believe anyone can keep up with 2 MMOS at the same time unless you have a lot of free time I do not know about

    B) Appointing officers: this is very personal but we talked a couple of times and the only reason why you were doubting me was because you havent heard me raising my voice at all, to me it feels like you are appointing officers more in a personal preference as Ive met the other officers as well and the only one standing out to me on that point is Luthias.

    C) Knowledge about the game: I think I said and I quote on the first guild meeting:: you can lead very well but you dont know jack shit about the game...please dont kick me know :p, to me a guild master should actually research before a patch hits and be a bit in front of most of the guild members, maybe you want to be sursprised and explore it while it hits, and I admit the content is easy mostly for now but still I like a GM who knows a bit more then the average guild member.

Anyway Im sure I missed some points about everything I wrote above, I had a good time here and Ill miss some people here a lot.

Hey dark, sad to see you leave especially since you were wanting to become an officer... Let me address some of your points anyway:
I agree that some are really short. When they are too short we tell them to edit them, but we do not want to force this on members since an introduction is something of your own, something personal. If people wish to only give us some basics we have to accept that.
Furthermore we recruit any player indeed. Anyone who is social and active and accepts the guild rules (thus pays is active ingame and in TS) because we are a social guild.

This will always happen. Don't expect the grass to be greener elsewhere unless you are in a hardcore guild. If someone asks to learn something then he/she can always go to learn etc. I have never seen someone getting declined for this but it could take 24h. Players who just seek a random party in guild chat often do not get a full party because others already did them or are doing something else- understandable.

That is true. The game simply offers more PVE and not so much PVP. But we do our pvp dailies, events, and sparring sometimes.
About the event: the first sparring event was a success. people had fun and it was educational. However i have gotten a better idea how to organise this by @toodi and i will organise this soonish with officers.

Well....we are seeking to be not that much reliant on other people's recipes. @toodi offered a nice way to make this system of guild crafting a bit more organised and i hope to implement that soon.

There was some yes but it got dealt with. About locking channels: These are meant for learning and doing difficult dungeons to not get bothered by someone else who might break your concentration. They are NOT meant for other things and officers are aware of this.

Sorry to disappoint you as guild master. A guild makes a guild because the leadership. Some may like it some may not. I'm not perfect.
I have clearly said during the guild meetings i had that i do not know what the future holds in my activity for black desert or BnS. Obviously, one of these games is gonna get more attention by me because i will like it more. I do not yet know what this is, but would it matter that much? Luthais is co-leader and we have 2 active officers and hopefully soon a third. Management is going fine and people are having fun. I have hang out on teamspeak and went a couple times ingame to do stuff and play a bit. If this is a reason why you leave its exactly why others left us- they have no trust in the guild while things are actually going fine.

I appoint officers on a trial period to whoever thinks he can be one. But yes i do think i have a good eye for talent in this (not personal preference)

I think i know a fair amount right now about BnS. Not about upcoming patches alot but i have already given my advice about the marketplace for example alot of times. Wich all turned out to be true. (but the soulstone price went only 4 silver higher for a few days then dropped lower)

Lastly i am busy levelling up and getting the black desert department running and this has been stalled because our website and teamspeak getting attacked by this douchebag. Today we had no attacks (or hopefully attacked but mitigated) and im working on finishing the movement of server. (we switched host).

I have to say i'm sad to see you leave. You were quite friendly social and helpful in the guild. Thanks for the time you spend with us.

I agree with most of your points. Especially with Point 1 and Point 4/B.

About PVE/PVP if I'm right you pointed out a few times we are supposed to stack up on gold before the level 50 patch hits. Now PvE gives so much more money even the faction quests are sort of wasting time... In this light focusing PvP is straight up pointless not to mention the lack of content. Open-World PVP is a joke and Arena isn't something we can enjoy together.

Organization is really poor indeed but it was mentioned during a guild meeting having a daily schedule isn't that good of an option. People will get late sometimes, frustration, frustration etc...

I'm afraid when Koni chooses a game the guild in the other one will suffer for a while and then calmly disband...

With that said I'm really sad you decided to leave the guild because in my eyes you had the most knowledge of the game as well as you were a very dependable as a player. I wish the best of luck for you onward!

Why even have those kinds of thoughts. Luthais is doing great and im keeping an eye on there.
Negativity and no trust- THAT is dangerous to a guild.

Blac Desert CCT not having a co-leader sort of feels like you've already decided which game will you choose. Of course I think Luthais is doing a great job.

^ The game is not really that long out yet, and i dont think Koni wants some new member/Officer take over the Guild as a CoLeader. Just give it time and see. Maybe he finds an Officer just like Luthais who is interested in BDO. Then Koni got enough time to handle everything he wants.

why....just why.... I made luthais a co-leader because he is the best officer i ever had. he deserves this spot. He knows his shit.

i really but really dont know wich game i like more. For now i love the advanced system black desert offers. building an imperium of workers, trading routes, fishing, horse breeding, combat, graphics......But how do you get workers and places where they go to? Grinding. How do you get horses? waiting. How do you do fishing? waiting. How do you lvl up or get skillpoints? grinding. Im not sure i can cope with that much repeation at end game- it depends on how fun it is. But again if i decide for black desert later then is cupcake thunder doomed in BnS? It is for YOU if you can only think of that. I just created a new event toodi gave me the idea for a while ago. Right now im barely logging into BnS purely because the website drama and getting the guild up and running in black desert wich will require some more time. Once things run well and the website has no drama i can login more to BnS to play a bit and check things out. I cant abandon my cute lyn! So i can also not abandon the guild since you are all my lovely ducks!

Well BnS CCT had no Co-Leader for like 6 weeks until Koni made Lulu a Co Leader. Of course i wouldn't put in someone as a Co Leader within 5 Days after the game and therefore the Guild in that game launched. A Leader has to have trust in the capabilities of his future Co Leader, he has to know that he would do his job well and won't abuse his "privilegues" while the Leader is away from the game.
