    Hi,

I have been away from the game for a few months so i am a bit out of all the gear and what skills to have.

Gona aim for a hybrid kind of build for starters since i think it will be the most value until i catch up and can farm the good gear.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

The bad thing about the warrior class right now is that its almost useless in gvg. Zerkers do everything better, and on top of that excel at 1v1 right now..
But to answer your question a warrior without gear right now should go full dp build because dp items are so cheap. DP earrings like ridell and shrine guardian tokens for rings. Try to pri or duo. Grunil for armor vangertz for shield yuria weapon and scarla neck. Those things are all cheap and with a few hours of grind you should be able to buy them.

Now for the skills, you want your warrior as mobile as it gets (gems with moving speed on armor should help) so go for the double charge, shield charge, AOE stuns like the ground smash, grapple, ultimate chopping kick is a must, some play hilt smash too, but i dont like it. Skills like ground slash or deep thrust dont work because they need really good positioning and they are so slow to cast and very difficult to hit in this game. In time you should try them though. Forward slash and guard should be full also. Fitness training and masteries when you are 55 are a must to be full on the skill tree also. Cause your hp scales your damage. Remember that.

For the DAMAGE output there are Spinning slash, scars of dust, and thats pretty much it.. And you need to time them perfectly to even matter.
Since bound after grapple DOES NOT work anymore you should initiate with a bound/float (counter, is the floating one) skill. The main thing warriors do wrong now is that they always initiate with grapple which after that makes them useless, standing meat stones. So here is a combo you could try..

Upper Shield Strike -> Chopping Kick -> Spinning Slash -> Ground Smash -> Chopping Kick -> Spinning Slash 2 Times (with "Jump Slash" ability) -> Take down -> Scars Of Dusk

The main problem with this combo and any combo like this one anyway, is that you need a lot of accuracy to make it happen. But thats it.

What i suggest is plain simple.. dont start your engaging with grapple. Try to stun with ground smash (cause its the easiest) then the kicks, spinning slash, and then last the grapple> spinning slashx2 and then try to utilize your scars of dust, which it almost never hits but in gvg's its easier.

P.S. I can show you in the arena wtv you want, just whisp me in game the name is Goremark.

    Good luck! :)
