I purchased quite some keyboards in the last while and want to write down some pro's and con's if you are in the market for a new keyboard.
    The contenders are:
    • Corsair K95 RGB.
    • Razer blackwidow Chroma.
    • Razer blackwidow Stealth (2012).
    • Roccat Ryos MK FX.
First of all the K95 RGB:
    Pro's:
    • Easy to clean.
    • Very sleek sexy brushed aluminium design.
    • Alot of dedicated macro key's.
    • Dedicated media keys and volume slider.
    • Dedicated profile switch buttons.
    • Very nice soft wrist rest.
    Con's:
    • No onboard memory- requires windows to be loaded to work. Does remember lightning.
    • Led's are on its brightest setting not as bright as the razer chroma.
    • Led effects are stuttering and not smooth.
    • No USB passthrough or audio/mic passthrough.
    • While being Cherry brown keys, do not feel as nice as the blackwidow stealth wich also has cherry brown keys. (asked and used by 2 writers and me- a gamer.
    • Not able to assign a macro or function to a combination of keys.
    • In reality 256 colors.
    Razer Blackwidow Chroma:
    Pro's:
    • Smooth lightning effects, all million lightning colors.
    • Cherry blue clone keys, wich always make click sounds, not my style and can't recommend it for gamers at all. The 2 typers i asked to give their opinion also say they prefer brown for typing.
    • Brightest led's of all keyboards.
    • Audio/mic passthrough.
    Con's:
    • Buggy software (for me anyway)
    • Again no multiple key combination macro or function assignment.
    • No onboard memory- requires windows to be loaded to work. Does remember lightning.
    • No wrist rest.
    • Plastic.
    Razer Blackwidow Stealth (2012):
    Pro's:
    • Absolutely wins in the feel of the keys. While it has the same cherry brown keys it simply feels better, smoother and faster then the other keyboards.
    Con's:
    • Buggy software (for me anyway)
    • Again no multiple key combination macro or function assignment.
    • No onboard memory- requires windows to be loaded to work. Does remember lightning.
    • No wrist rest.
    • Plastic.
    • No RGB lightning.
    • No light effects.
    Roccat Ryos MK FX:
    -soon-
