Hello, i am here to say a few things since i wont wait until the guild meeting.

I was an applicant for Codex, they seemed like my type of guild, in the end i canceled the application in search for a more chill but serious goal having guild. My second choice was Cupcake Thunder, i know both of these guilds pretty well from Tera.

So lets break it down my Pros & Cons

    Pros:

#1 I made friends in Cupcake ( or at least i can call them that, dont know nothing what they think about me )
#2 I like both the Website and Teamspeak of this guild
#3 I like events in this guild ( even though i havent been in even 1 of them due to hard class decisions, my time was spent leveling the right class )
#4 This guild has some friendly people

    Cons:

#1 I talked to some people about Cupcake both current and ex members, also took my friends thoughts into consideration and i really think the Weekly Pay thing is too much, not only dues it break my own personal freedom from being an active PVPer but also forces me to do content i dont entirely enjoy.

#2 The Weekly Pay has to be devided or lowered or never to be raised again, collecting stuff like Coins or Moonstones or whatever that stuff is, is too demanding for a PVP player like me, and from what i talked to some people to them as well. There really has to be some change into this aspect.

#3 Where dues the gold go we give? Lets break this down, we have to farm recipies, then give mats for the contractor to make us a Moonwater stone, also wait in a que for it, but what about the gold? duesnt it cover our stone expenses? Because at this point it only feels like the higher end players in CCT get what they want.

#4 I discussed this with a member, and it feels like there is some sort of Alliance with Koni and other higher end people for PVE content, i aint taking this into consideration for my self since i marely care about PVE, i am a teamplayer and want to know what happens for others unhappy members in this clan. Is there some sort of alliance where some * special people * get more then others?

5# I feel like the moto we will help everyone is fake, and is only centered on people who have already everything and help them the over increasing gold making.

6# The PVP Sparing Event was a complete dissaster in my opinion as a PVPer, the only thing most people were interested in beating someone to feel satisfied of being a better pvper then someone who has probably never pvped before, i also got irritated by people whining how hard the PVP was for them, like seriously? Do you know this game is an Esports in Korea and probably has one of the highest skill cap in most MMORPGs

#7 Koni will probably fall down as a good leader when Black Desert online hits, so the guild will be *helped by a co GM * which he will probably make the guild worse or better, no one knows. Events will be scares and recruitment lowered.

#8 The guild is labeled as Semi Hardcore PVE\PVP - Lets really discuss what this guild is. Its a guild for Casual Social people based on a couple higher end people who do casual PVE content together, leave lower lvls to strugle alone and pay an even higher fees every week without seeing any + for them selfs only to realise they are paying to enter teamspeak. Also forgot to mention, PVP is probably never going to be a *Thing* in CCT.

#9 Every Semi HC Guild has Applications to join, our duesn't so where is the HC version of this guild? We invite everyone who shows interest, it feels like a race to fill the missing guild spots

So this is basicly what i wanted to bring to the meeting, and i couldn't last longer because i basicly now avoid coming to teamspeak coz someones gana ask questions about why i havent payed up this week.

So is this how CCT is or is this it for my journey.

Take this wall of text into consideration please

I have added answers in green to the above quote.

To give you my additional 2 cents is that this guild might not be for you. We are semi-hardcore and you seem like a casual player to me. There is nothing wrong with that though....But we always had as goal to level up the guild as a nice status symbol and for the advantages it gives. If we remove this or lower the payment required we are not a semi-hardcore guild anymore. It's not gonna happen. But we will keep checking the current situations and adjust where needed.

Just because i have a long hour job, wasn't at the heastart, made a wrong class decision and don't do PVE duesnt make me casual. And no this game isnt centered on PVE, people go into this game for PVP.

Anyways i got my answers, and i see no reason to stay, the concept of this guild really duesnt suit me.

Also instead of answering questions, you just gave mare answers, but not take in any criticism from me or what people in the guild said, this is not only my own opinion, i wont be the only one who leaves CCT

    Farewell

Never had the pleasure of getting to know you Tornment as I rarely saw you on TS.

I think it's healthy for the guild to hear criticism because no one in infallible and everyone can improve but I have to take issue with some of your points.

You talk about the guild perhaps not being 'hardcore' enough for you and say, with what seems to be some resentment, that you applied to Codex but chose CT. You follow this up with saying that you don't want to do PvE and think that the Guild Tax is too prohibitive. It makes me question whether you have seen Codex's recruitment requirements? How do you expect to get +380 Attack Power without doing any PvE? They have Guild Taxes too you know? You're basically saying: I'm looking for a Hardcore guild, but one that will boost me.

#8 The guild is labeled as Semi Hardcore PVE\PVP - Lets really discuss what this guild is. This is the most contradictory part for me. You object to CT being labeled as semi-hardcore because we don't help lower levels (like yourself)? Do you really think that Hardcore guilds cater for and boost their lower levels, or rather expect every player to be self-sufficient with a Hardcore mentality and activity? If you are looking for a guild that is more Hardcore yet MORE helpful, good luck.
I, personally, have had a lot of fun with Clan members in mass PvP events - something you haven't been able to experience because of your level. So it already is a *thing*, just not a *thing* you have participated in.

If I, and I'm sure this applies to others in the guild, were aware that you required help, I/we would have offered it. It's not something I can mind read though.

I urge anyone that needs or wants help in the Clan just to speak out, there's always people that are willing if you actually talk.

This is a wonderful conspiracy theory but you cannot withdraw the gold from the guild bank! It is used to level the Clan, which benefits everyone in it!

As for the recipes we farmed, lots of people have benefited from that by placing orders with the crafters every day since we got them! If I wanted to I could have made more gold profit from the sale of the stones the guild has crafted for me than the guild tax amount for 2 months! The stones are needed though.

These points as well as the ones I mentioned above go some way to me questioning your knowledge of the games mechanics (which is NOT a problem, because I know very little about the game compared to others) but in your case you say you need a guild that is more Hardcore? Without knowing some basic game info?

    I'm still baffled.

Sincerely though, good luck finding a Clan that suits your needs man.

Im not agreeing here on everything torment sais but he has some valuable points that really diserve attention to the guild meeting, we will see on sunday, ....

    Edit:

I also wanted to add something and a great misunderstanding to a lot (if not almost all guild members ) of players here, you will not be able to compete in PVP if you don't PVE as well, this game requires you to have hongmen levels later on, why?... because you need the extra skill points for each hongmen level later on to actually be competitive in PVP as well.

Im not saying you need to be like HM 15-20 (good luck in reaching that on even one character:p) because by that time you will have more then enough skill points and some will even become obsolete to be competitive in PVP but you will need to aim between 5-10 at least and that means a lot of PVE as well.

As far as ive seen gaining XP solo doing PvP is so little (might change in EU patches) and now there is not even a reward for it, later on you can only get pouches that get you more soulstones when you win.

My point being, this is a PVE/PVP game its not like for example GW2 where you have all skills instantly and are on the same level as everyone in PVP.

Tornment, your post is still silly and that little conspiracy theory has nothing to do with the current turn of events.
