i found this very useful map that shows how to connect all town & city nodes by using only 65 contribution points:

you can do traderuns with quite some profit when you transport goods from one end of the map to the other, you can send workers from any town to any node or workshop as long as there is a connection and you can send stuff from the warehouse of one town to the warehouse of another.

Connecting cities also helps with transfering items from 1 warehouse to another.
if the nodes are not connected you pay 3X the price.
Connecting nodes also allow you to use workers from capheleon in veilia for example

I transfer Iron ore, Rough Transluciant crystals & potato's daily from veilia to Capheleon for a minimal price (because my armor workshop is stationed there)

sorry about the late response, i have been slacking when it comes to our forums lately lol

i think trade runs are the best way to make money in bdo. although you would have to level up your trading skill in order to be able to purchase higher level trading goods so you can maximize your profit.

when you visit the trade manager in velia for example and buy trading goods, then carry those to the trading manager in trent then you can sell items with as much as 50% distance bonus. the higher your trading level is, the more expensive the trade goods you can purchase/sell.

so theoretically, at a high enough trading level you can purchase trading goods for 1.000.000 in velia, then go to trent and sell them for at least 1.500.000, then buy stuff for 1.000.000 in trent and go back to velia and sell those again for 1.500.000. in the end you made 1.000.000 profit in the time it takes you to drive a cart from velia to trent and back which shouldn't take more than half an hour. i don't know of any other way to make a million silver in 30 minutes.

You can already lvl up trading by turning in fish at a trader
