Cooking

Thought I'd put down recipies for a few useful dishes and how to easily obtain ingredients for them. Recipies do have a cooking level requirement later on but basic ones doesn't. You need a residence with a cooking utensil to cook, put in enough ingredients for only one batch then hit continuos cooking if you want to make more than one.

No level required

Beer (Worker recover 2 stamina)
5 x Grain (Wheat, barley, potatoes etc.)
6 x Mineral water
2 x Leavening agent
1 x Sugar

Grain is the only thing that needs to be collected/produced at a node rest is bought at the store. Potatoes can be produced near Velia at Loggia farm or Bartali


Level Apprentice 1

Good Feed (Pet food +40 saturation)
4 x Flour (basic crafting "L" on keybord grinding)
6 x Meat (Butchering foxes, wolves etc.)
1 x Fish or 2 x Dried fish (Fishing duh quality doesn't seem to matter)
3 x Mineral water

A bit more annoying to get but if you have potato farming up for beer you can also use potatoes for flour, other options are grinding wheat, barley or corn. It also involves killing random critters and butchering them for meat, you can combine different meat for example 4 weasel meat and 2 fox meat.

Level Apprentice 6

Beehive Cookies (+50Lt weight limit and +1 fishing speed for 90 minutes)
4 x Wheat dough (basic crafting grind wheat to flour then shake wheat + mineral water ratio 1:1)
6 x Cooking honey or Bee hives
2 x Egg
4 x Milk

This one requires a bit more manual labor. Wheat can be produced at nodes Costa Farm SW of Heidel for example. Honey is produced at Alejandro farm NW of Heidel or if you want bee hives they are gathered with hunting by shooting them down from trees. Eggs are produced at chicken farms Bartali farm near Velia is nice since they also produce potatoes. Milk is the annoying part, you can get it from a farm outside of Calpheon I think it's Falres Dirt farm by milking cows, you can also get it from trading in side dishes you get as a byproduct when cooking.

I'm fully aware that it's probably cheaper and easier for sure to get this from the market but I kind of enjoy being able to make it myself.

 

You can get potatoes yourself from gathering at those farms or at the marketplace and for beer you don't grind it you use the potato as it is
