GEARING UP

Before I start there are different Tier's of gear , they are based on color Gold being the best in slot gear followed by purple, light blue and green.

When you hit level 40 you will get a quest from Anvar Bao He's located here . This is where you craft your 1st Gold Weapon. Incase you don't have a quest from him make sure to do the Yellow story line quest. NOTE: Yellow quests are different from Orange quests.

You get your Gold offhand as a daily login gift on day 3. On hitting 45 you can do Misty Hollow's over here you can drop purple gear which you will need to do Shrine on 3 star expert difficulty. It's hard to get drops of your class in Misty Hollows 45 you could also buy the purple gear from a vendor in Sulan called Ally Scarlett for Demonslayer points.


REFINEMENT:

Refinement a.k.a sharpening your gear. By now you must have accumulated a bit of depleted Phlogiston you need them to upgrade gear uptill +4. After that you need Argent Phlogiston to upgrade uptill+ 8 after +8 you require Red Phlogiston to upgrade from +8-+10.
You can get Red Phlogiston by combining 2 Argen Phlogiston and 1 Red Ticket

For now you should just focus on getting you gear as high as possible probably your weapon to +9 if your a dps/Healer class and Armor or offhand if tank. Try and get the rest to gear to +7 atleast.
When you upgrade gear to +5 and +9 they gain an additional stat called Veneration.

VENERATION RENEW:


As you can see I have 2 veneration stats Physical Armor +80 and Dodge +45. These stats are random and they may be of different color. Like the gears Gold color Veneration stats are the best and then comes Purple and so on.

Veneration re-new is a method to re-roll(get new stats instead of the current ones) the Veneration stats you acquired via Refinement of a gear at +5 and +9. In the Above picture there are 2 stats because one was acquired at +5 then the other at +9. These stats boost the gearscore of that particular equipment. To re-roll these stats you need 2 Depleted Phlogiston for 1 re-reoll. NOTE this process of stat re-rolling is completely RNG based so you could get worse stats than you already have. Another point to remember is that Stats such as for example +100 hp or Mana which is gold in color will have lower gear score than Purple color stat with lets say Physical defense +50 or Physique or Spirit +5.0. Remember stats add to gear score, that's why identically made gear will have different gearscore when Refined past +5.
